Magnum Cementing Services LTD

Completed through a Design-Build form of contract with Midwest Design & Construction and SAHURI + Partners Architecture, this two storey building is home to Magnum Cementing’s administration offices and production shops. Magnum Cementing provides specialty services to the Alberta oil industry by offering oil companies a primary and remedial cementing service with the highest degree of integrity and customer satisfaction. Their newly constructed Head Office facility in Strathmore, Alberta supports their “service with integrity” business. Consisting of a 225 m² service / maintenance shop, in combination with the on-site accessory storage building and batching silos, Magnum is now positioned to deliver for their clients from this state-of-the-art facility. The building is constructed as a combination of a pre-engineered steel building and conventional steel framing, complete with clerestory punch-window glazing, and masonry veneer accents. Structural provisions for a future 225 m² mezzanine level office and a future overhead rail crane have also been added in the original construction to allow for minimal disruption to daily operations when these components are required by Magnum Cementing.
