Originally built for the F.W. Woolworth retail chain in the 1950s, this building was in need of a facelift. We provided structural reinforcement, new storefront windows on the main floor and installed a modern exterior consisting of Aluminum Composite Panels & corrugated metal.

Axis 28 Apartment Building is a five-story wood structure building with a total floor area of nearly 100,000 square feet.

Due to the Arctic climate, this structure was built on steel piles to withstand the permafrost.
