Transportation & Aviation Project Highlights

FedEx Ground

New Build

FedEx Ground was a turnkey construction project in Lethbridge built to the client's specifications, including a pre-engineered rigid frame steel building with a standing seam roof, canopies over the mandoors, and a loading dock.

The developed space includes offices and washrooms, with the majority of the building used for cross-docking, featuring a full-length conveyor system. The exterior loading dock includes dock shelters and levellers with high-security perimeter fencing and automatic gates.

North Cariboo Air

Custom New Build

A few years ago, North Cariboo Air required a new base of operations for their Calgary location.

The SWMW team worked with the clients to design and build a custom 25,000-square-foot hangar and office that met their updated vision and evolving needs.

Alongside the large airplane hangar, the new reception/office space includes a mezzanine with additional meeting rooms and offices. The project is also a great example of a pre-engineered steel frame aviation building, an area in which we specialize, and are a dealer for BEHLEN Industries.
