Coaldale Fire Hall Expansion

The Town of Coaldale has approved an expansion to its fire hall. Construction on phase one is underway and is expected to be completed in May 2019.

When completed, the renovations will include additional space for staff, oversize garage doors to accommodate new vehicles and enhanced training areas for the town’s emergency services department.

Windsor Ford Vehicle Dealership

Southwest performed the supply and erect of the 57,500 sqft shop. The total dealership square footage exceeds 100,000 sqft making it one of the largest dealerships in North America - IT'S HUGE.

The building includes All Weather Insulated Panels (AWIP) wall system and 12" thermal roof. Massive internal jack beams support wider clearspans and a two storey mezzanine. Southwest also supplied and installed the insulated metal panel system on the office and showroom structure.

Architectural buildouts of facades create a unique look to mount the Ford signage.

New Fire Hall Construction

Ground broke on the land behind UFA Petroleum in La Glace back in July 2018. That was after a review showed that the current 24-year-old fire hall was too small to fit some of the department’s new equipment.
